Zhytomyr region sowed 28% of sugar beets
In 2022, the spring sowing campaign in Ukraine in general and in Zhytomyr region in particular is taking place in rather difficult conditions, during the war.
It is reported by Department of Agricultural Development and Economic Policy of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
But, despite difficult conditions, all agricultural enterprises in the region are holding the spring sowing campaign.
As of April 13, 3,1 thousand hectares of sugar beets were sown, or 28% of the planned area.
