In general, in 2017 sugar refineries of the region accepted 480 thousand tonnes of sugar beet for processing, which is 2,5 thousand tonnes more than the previous year.

This season in the region sugar beet was processed by two companies — «Chervonskyi Tsukrovyk» and «Signet-Center».
