According to the Department of Agri-Industrial Development and Economic Policy of RMA, as of April 18, in all categories of farms in the region, sugar beets were sown on the area of 7.9 thousand hectares (91% of the planned).

High sowing rates are due to the fact that spring sowing campaign started two weeks earlier than last year.
