Zhytomyr region plans to double sugar beet sown area
In 2023, Zhytomyr region plans to double the area planted with sugar beets.

According to the deputy head of Zhytomyr regional military adminstaton Viktor Gradivskyi, according to the forecast indicators, the area under sugar beets will be increased by 5.8 thousand hectares, which is more than twice or by 107%.
The weather conditions — rain and snow — have slightly disturbed the plans of the farmers.
