Zhytomyr region harvested more than 145,000 tonnes of sugar beets
As of September 28, more than 145,000 tonnes of sugar beets were harvested in all categories of farms of Zhytomyr region.
It is reported by Department of Agricultural Development and Economic Policy of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
Sugar beets were harvested from the area of 3,3 thousand hectares (31% of the forecast), 145,2 thousand tonnes of sweet roots were harvested with the average average yield of 440 centners/ha.
