Yuzepho-Mykolaiv biogas company will invest 7,5 million euros in beet pulp biogas complex
Yuzepho-Mykolaiv biogas company will launch biogas plant with a capacity of 3-MW that will operate on the sugar beet pulp in May.

It will be invested about 7,5 million euros in it, said Yevgen Lukashevych, the head of UTC and the general contractor of the project, at the International Congress «Sugar World 2019».
He said, the station will work on a sugar beet pulp produced by the sugar refinery of Yuzhef-Mykolaiv Agroindustrial Company. In the future, it is planned to build another queue of the biogas plant, reducing its capacity to 5 MW.
Yevgen Lukashevych noted that the payback period of the project reaches 2 years. The plant's production costs will be about 1,2 million euros per year, and revenue from electricity sales — 5 million euros per year.
