Volyn agrarians planted 7,300 hectares of sugar beets for this year's crop, Oleksandr Knysh, the head of Department of the regional agri-industrial development, tells for Suspilne.

This year, sugar beets were sown on the area 700 hectares less than last year. However, taking into account favorable weather conditions, its yield is good - 450 t/ha with sugar content of 16% or more.
