Yuriy Yurchenko, the director of Department of Agri-Industrial Development, told Suspilne about it. According to him, in 2024, more than 11,000 hectares were sown with sugar beets in the region. 

513,000 tonnes of swet roots were harvested in the fields with the average yield of 460 centners/ha.
