Volyn harvested more than 250,000 tonnes of sugar beet
As of October 8, over 250,000 tonnes of sugar beet were harvested in Volyn region.
It is reported by Agricultural Department of Regional State Administration.
The region is carrying out sugar beet harvesting campaign, sweet roots have already been harvested from the area of 6,1 thousand hectares (66,3%), 256,2 thousand tonnes of sugar beets have been harvested, with the average yield of 420 centners/ha.
