2,42 million tonnes of sugar beet are harvested from the area of 43,3 thousand hectares, which is 78,3% of the total harvested area. The yield reaches 558,6 centners/ha, and sugar content — 15,9%.

This year in Vinnytsia region, there are six sugar refineries in operation.
