Vinnytsia sugar refineries produced more than 165,000 tonnes of sugar
As of October 29, sugar refineries in Vinnytsia region produced more than 165,000 tonnes of sugar.
It is reported by press service of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.
There are 5 sugar refineries in operation in the region. They accepted for processing 1272,9 thousand tonnes of sugar beets, processed 1151,2 thousand tonnes, and produced 165,2 thousand tonnes of sugar.
According to Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, the region continues sugar beet harvesting. The sweet roots are harvested from the area of 44,7 thousand hectares (90,1% of the forecast), 2259,5 thousand tonnes of beets harvested with the average yield of 505,5 centners/ha, which is 92,3 centners/ha more than in 2020.
