In 2017, the processing enterprises of Vinnytsia region procured more than three million tonnes of sugar beet — some of them were delivered from neighboring regions.

Kryzhopil Sugar Refinery produced 135,7 thousand tonnes of sugar, Gaisin Refinery — 105,5 thousand tonnes, Zhdanivka Refinery — 74 thousand tonnes, Tomashpil Refinery — 37,9 thousand tonnes, Yuzepho-Mykolaiv Refinery — 27,2 thousand tonnes, Illinetsky Refinery — 38,6 thousand tonnes, Sokolivka Refinery — 14,7 thousand tonnes.

In 2016, the largest sugar beet volumes were brought from Zhytomyr region — 171 thousand tonnes, Khmelnytsk — 103 thousand tonnes, Cherkasy — 64 thousand tonnes, Kyiv — 25 thousand tonnes, Kirovograd — 22 thousand tonnes. 2,47 million tonnes of sugar beet were harvested in the region.
