Vinnytsia sugar factories produced 94 kt of sugar
As of October 17, Vinnytsia region harvested 19 thousand hectares of sugar beets or 42% of the total area. The average yield is recorded at 43,1 t/ha, which is higher than last year.

Three sugar factories out of five are currently in operation. Factories that were temporarily shut down by adverse weather conditions began to stockpile raw materials to resume their operations.
In total, since beginning of the production season, Vinnytsia sugar factories received 700 thousand tonnes of sugar beets, of which 665 thousand tonnes were processed. 94 thousand tonnes of sugar were produced.
With the onset of favorable weather conditions, technical support of region's agri-industrial enterprises allows them to carry out the predicted volumes of autumn field work in full.
