Vinnytsia sugar factories produced 320 kt of sugar
Despite the reduction in sugar beet acreages in 2025, Vinnytsia farmers received higher crop yields. The average indicator increased by 78 centners/ha compared to the previous year and amounted to 48 t/ha, compared to 40,2 t/ha in 2024. This allowed to harvest more than 2.2 million tonnes of sugar beets.

The main difficulties of the production season were associated with unfavorable weather conditions. Excessive rainfall complicated the harvesting campaign and sugar beets delivering to processing factories.
In mid-October, two out of five sugar factories in Vinnytsia region temporarily suspended their work due to a shortage of raw materials. Farmers were unable to harvest beets due to prolonged rains and waterlogging of the soil. After the weather conditions improved, the factories resumed the technological process.
As of today, two sugar factories in the region have already completed the 2025/2026 sugar-refining season, and three more enterprises continue production.
In total, since the beginning of the production season, sugar factories of Vinnytsia region produced 320 thousand tonnes of sugar.
