All five sugar factories are operating in the region, which have already processed 1.5 million tonnes of sugar beet, producing 188,000 tonnes of sugar. Sugar beets have been harvested from 90% of the total area with the average yield of 415.1 centners/ha, and the total volume of the harvested crop reaches 2.4 million tonnes.
