It is reported by the Director of the Department of Agro-industrial Development, Ecology and Natural Resources of the Regional State Administration Mykola Tkachuk.

The farms of Vinnytsia region have sowed 96,400 hectares of early grain and legume crops. Weather conditions are favorable, which allows to complete early grains sowing in optimal terms.

«Vinnytsia region continues 2019 sowing campaign, there are no specific complaints or problems. The local agricultural producers have an active and responsible phase of their work — in the field», — the official said.

In addition, the region began sugar beet sowing, and 24,9 thousand hectares of beets have already been sown (51,6% of the planned areas).
