This year in Vinnytsia region there are seven sugar refineries that have accepted 2,34 million tonnes of sugar beet for processing, of which 2,05 million tonnes were processed. In general, in the region sugar beet were harvested from the area of 55,1 thousand hectares — 95,9% of the forecast. At present, 2.65 million tonnes of beet are harvested with the yield of 480,5 centners/ha.
