Vinnytsia region produced 125,000 tonnes of sugar
Vinnytsia region continues sugar beet harvesting campaign, and sugar-refining season is in full swing. As of October 17, factories in the region produced 125,000 tonnes of sugar.
It is reported by the head of Vinnytsia military administration Serhiy Borzov.
Vinnytsia is the leader in the volume of harvested sugar beets in Ukraine. To date, 1,479.8 thousand tonnes of sweet roots have been obtained or 58% of the sown area. Currently, this is the best indicator in Ukraine.
Sugar factories managed to produce 125,000 tonnes of sugar. Last year, on the same date, 60,000 tonnes of sugar were produced.
