«As of October 18, sugar factories of the region have already produced 115,000 tonnes of sugar. All five sugar factories continue their work», — reported in Vinnytsia RMA.

It is noted that these enterprises have already processed 879,000 tonnes of raw materials.

Meanwhile, the region continues sugar beet harvesting campaign. Sweet roots have already been harvested on 58% of the sown areas of the region. The average yield is inferior to last year by 55.3 centners/ha and amounts to 421.5 centners/ha.
