It is reported by Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

According to Serhiy Borzov, the head of the Regional State Administration, this is one of the best figures in Ukrainian sugar industry. 

«Every fourth kilogram of sugar in Ukraine is produced in Vinnytsia region», — he commented.

Serhiy Borzov reported that in 2020 season 6 sugar factories were in operation in the region. As of December 4, they produced 177 thousand tonnes of sugar. The average sugar content amounted to 16%. The head of the region noted that currently 4 sugar factories continue production and plan to finish their operations in early 2021.
