Vinnytsia farmers began sugar beet sowing campaign
Vinnytsia farmers began sugar beet sowing, as of March 28, 5.85 thousand hectares were sown, or 9% of the projected area.
This is reported by Ukrinform with the reference to Vinnytsia RMA.
«Sugar beet sowing began in some agricultural enterprises in southern and central parts of the region. As of March 28, 9% of the planned area were sown», — the RMA reported.
The Administration noted that in 2025, the local farmers plan to sow sugar beets on the area of 65 thousand hectares. This is 5 thousand hectares, or 8% more than last year.
