UPI-AGRO produced more than 200kt of sugar
In UPI-AGRO, 2023 harvesting campaign has come to the end — the company's production units and participants of the partner program «Sugar beet — the choice of the smart ones!» have finished sugar beet harvesting.

In total, more than 2.1 million tonnes of sugar beets were harvested from the total area of 43 thousand hectares (25.8 thousand hectares in holding enterprises and 17.2 thousand hectares in partner enterprises). The yield amounted to 49 t/ha. The average sugar content reached 18.3%.
The harvested crop is delivered to UPI-AGRO sugar factories, which are working at full capacity. As of the end of November, the holding's factories processed almost 1.5 million tonnes of raw materials, from which more than 155,000 tonnes of own and 65,000 tonnes of partner sugar were produced.
In addition, the production of syrup, of which 26,500 tonnes have already been produced, continues at Gaisyn sugar factory. The syrup will be processed into sugar in spring of 2024.
