This year «Ukrprominvest-Agro» harvested a record sugar beet crop.

It is reported by Latifundist.com.

The beet yield was 65 t/ha from the area of 28,4 thousand hectares. The yield indicators for the company gained historic highs.

«Industrial achievements have become the logical result of the consistent increase in the levels of organization of production and executive discipline, a clear division of responsibilities between functional verticals — agronomy, production, engineering», — said Yevgen Sayenko, General Director of «Ukrprominvest-Agro».

An increase in beet volumes by 50%, which was received for processing at the agroholding sugar refineries, became another major achievement for the company in 2018. This happened both at the expense of increasing yield of its own sugar beet, and due to the significant expansion of the partnership programs and the increase in the amount of raw materials that came from third-party suppliers.

As a result, the volume of processed sugar beet in 2018/2019 MY will reach 2,28 million tonnes, of which 480 thousand tonnes — "tolling" raw materials. Thus, this year «Ukrproinvest-Agro» will set another record in produced sugar volumes.

«In 2019, the company will continue to work on improving efficiency (by reducing indirect costs) and increasing productivity. If in 2018 the land bank of the company remained relatively stable — a minor outflow of shareholders was compensated for by the arrival of new ones, in 2019  the land bank is possible to increase significantly as a result of the acquisition of corporate rights of small agricultural companies», — said Yevgen Sayenko.
