Ukrainian agrarians have almost completed sugar beet sowing
As of May 11, Ukrainian farmers almost finished sugar beet sowing.
It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The work was carried out on the area of 275 thousand hectares, or 92% of the forecast.
The spring cereals and leguminous crops, with a forecast of 7,4 million hectares, were sown on the area of 6,2 million hectares (84%). Sunflower sown on the area of 4,9 million hectares (88%), soybeans — on the area of 1,2 million hectares (61%). In addition, winter rape for grains sown on the area of 1 million hectares.
