Ukrainian farmers carried out spring cereals and leguminous crops (with corn) sowing on the area of 5,5 million hectares or 76% of the forecast (7,2 million hectares).

In addition, sugar beets were sown on the area of 217 thousand hectares (89%), sunflowers — 4,2 million hectares (74%), soybeans — 676 thousand hectares (37%).
