Ukraine sowed 194 thousand hectares of sugar beet
As of April 17, sugar beet were sown on the area of 194 thousand hectares or 79% of the forecasted areas.
It is reported by press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Ukrainian farmers began soybeans sowing campaign, which was conducted on the area of 31 thousand hectares or 2% of the forecast. In general, 2,1 million hectares or 91% of the forecasted area were planted with early spring crops and leguminous crops.
