Ukraine planted almost 205,000 ha of sugar beets
As of May 11, Ukrainian agricultural producers planted almost 205,000 hectares of sugar beets.
According to official data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, 14 regions of Ukraine continue to sow sugar beets, 204.8 thousand hectares have already been sown.
The most beets were sown in Vinnytsia regoin (52,000 ha), followed by Khmelnytsk (23,500 ha), Poltava (22,500 ha) and Ternopil regions (20,800 ha).
