Ukraine increased sugar exports to African countries
Since the beginning of March, Ukraine has significantly increased its sugar exports to African countries. In particular, to Cameroon, Libya and Guinea.
It was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi, press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported.
«Ukraine is actively developing new direction for sugar export. During March, almost 8,000 tonnes of sugar were delivered to three African countries — Cameroon, Libya and Guinea», — said Taras Vysotskyi.
According to him, in general, the situation on domestic sugar market is stable. The produced sugar is sufficient for domestic needs of Ukrainians and to ensure the necessary export volumes.
