Sugar beets were harvested from the area of 205,7 thousand hectares (91% in Ukraine), more than 9,6 million tonnes of sweet roots were harvested with the average yield of 469,8 centners/ha. Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Chernigiv and Bukovyna regions finished harvesting operations. The highest average beet yield was registered in Lviv region and amounted to 558,1 centners/ha.
