Ukraine harvested 4.6 million tonnes of sugar beets
As of the second week of October, 4.6 million tonnes of sugar beets were harvested in Ukraine.
It is reported by press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Sugar beet harvesting continues, sweet roots were harvested from the area of 96.4 thousand hectares, 4,602 thousand tonnes of beets were obtained with the average yield of 477.4 centners/ha. Farmers of Vinnytsia harvested the most sugar beets — 1,479.8 thousand tonnes.
