Sugar beets were harvested from the area of 222,7 thousand hectares (98% in Ukraine), more than 10,5 million tonnes of sweet roots were harvested with the average yield of 473 centners/ha. Agricultural producers of 13 regions finished harvesting operations. The highest average beet yield was registered in Lviv region and amounted to 556,8 centners/ha.
