Ukraine began sugar beet harvesting campaign
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, sugar beet harvesting campaign began in Ukraine.
Vinnytsia farmers started sugar beet harvesting, which have been harvested on the area of 200 hectares.
«Khmilnytske» LLC, which is part of «Astrata-Kyiv» agri-industrial holding, was the first to start sugar beet harvesting in Vinnytsia region. This year, the total area under sugar beets in the company amounts to 38k ha.
