TOP-10 exporters of MY 2016/2017
«Vinnytsia Center of Grain Production» LLC became the leader in sugar exports in MY 2016/2017 and managed to export 152,5 thousand tonnes of sugar worth $ 74,7 million.
Three leaders are closed by «Tsukoragroprom» LLC and «Radekhivskyi Sugar» LLC, which exported 117,3 and 101,9 thousand tonnes of sugar, respectively.
In MY 2016/2017, Ukrainian producers exported a record volume of sugar — 767,3 thousand tonnes worth $ 377,8 million. The largest deliveries were made to Sri Lanka (112,2 thousand tonnes), Georgia (47,9 thousand tonnes) and Turkey (42,5 thousand tonnes).
According to the Association, in the current marketing year sugar exports will amount to roughly 500 thousand tonnes.
