This year, sugar beet processing season for agricultural producers was better than for the enterprise, because if you grew a good crop, you could get 2-3 thousand dollars of net profit from each hectare of sugar beets last year.
The deputy director of Gnidava sugar refinery, Oleksandr Nikishyn, said this in a comment, press service of the compeny reports.
«Sugar beet is a good crop, its profitability for farms is high, it can't even be compared to grain crops. This year the situation will be different, because we can already see that the exchange rate and sugar price will not coincide, and many factors influence this, the most important of which is the price of energy carriers, so this year the beet processing season will probably be the most difficult», — noted Oleksandr Nikishyn.
