The USA to export large ethanol volume to Brazil despite high tax
In Brazil, Platts expects the US to export 1,7 billion liters of ethanol to Brazil next year, down slightly from the 1,8 billion liters seen for this year despite the new 20% import duty on imports above 600 million liters.

Center-south mills won’t be able to boost supplies to the north-northeast as higher gasoline prices boost demand for ethanol. US ethanol could increase market share in Brazil’s north-northeast region to 40% from 30% this year.
