Thailand sugar production is estimated to drop almost 2 million tonnes
Thailand production is estimated to drop 1.7 million tonnes to 9.4 million due to drought during the intensive growth stage.
It is reported by USDA in its November report.
Consumption is expected up in line with anticipated economic recovery and tourism that will boost domestic demand for sugar. Exports are estimated higher and are expected to exceed production, while stocks are projected to drop sharply following strong domestic and export demand.
