Ternopil sugar factories produced almost 76,000 tonnes of sugar
The 2023 season of sugar beets harvesting and processing continues in Ternopil region. During this time, four sugar factories in the region processed almost 600,000 tonnes of sweet roots.
Ternopil Regional State Administration reported about it on its Facebook-page.
To date, each enterprise has exceeded the planned norm: Chortkiv production by 111%; Khorostkiv production by 120%; Koziv production by 126%; Zbarazh production by 112%.
Since the beginning of the sugar-production season, almost 76,000 tonnes of sugar have been produced — 25,000 tonnes more than last year.
