Mariya Dermanska, Head of the Department of Agricultural Production Management of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Regional State Administration, says, that in general, according to preliminary data, in the region sugar beet were harvested from the area of ​​29,5 thousand hectares.

In total, 1.661 million tonnes of sugar beet were harvested with the yield of 56,2 t/ha, which is 27% more than last year.
