Ternopil region began 2025 sugar beet sowing campaign
Sugar beet sowing began in Ternopil region on March 27. In particular, the first planned variety is already being sown in the fields of «APS» company near the village of Rosokhuvatets.

«First we sow Seza variety, then we will sow Annamira variety, which is already traditional for our company, and Betaseed. This year, 865 hectares have been allocated for sugar beets, approximately 50 hectares less than last year», — shares Oleg Dragus, the chief agronomist of Rosokhuvatets branch of «APS» company.
Farmers say that if there is no rain, they plan to finish sugar beet sowing in 8 days. As for the planned crop, they are aiming to harvest at least 70 t/ha.
