Recently, «TAS Agro» agricultural holding began spring sowing campaign.

The company's crop area has not changed in general, but due to food security and market situation this season, sugar beets have been added to the crop structure.

All farms are provided with seed material, fertilizers, plant protection products, fuel and lubricants. Despite the late start of sowing, caused by weather conditions, I am convinced that all work will be completed in optimal agronomic terms. Modern technological complexes are involved in the seeding plant, which increase the accuracy of sowing and productivity of work», — said Victor Belkot, the director of production of «TAS Agro» LLC.

«After completion of sowing, additional application of nitrogen fertilizers is planned. Last year was marked by savings on fertilizers as one of the most expensive items in growing technology. The increase of fertilizers prices is connected both with the growth of prices for raw materials, logistics, energy carriers and with the reduction of their production in Ukraine. «TAS Agro» understands that plant can't be cheated: if you don't provide nutrition, you won't get a good crop. I don't believe in miracle products, one liter of which can replace nitrogen nutrition, it doesn't work. We will change the approach to the distribution of fertilizers on the fields. To do this, we conducted an analysis of the crops yield in the section of each field for the last five years, thus we divided the fields into categories. In accordance with this, we will plan the level of productivity and the feeding system. In this way, we will be able to not only save money, but also increase efficiency of funds invested in fertilizers», — Viktor Belkot concluded.

Before the war, «TAS Agro» land bank amounted to 83,000 hectares in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, was engaged in dairy farming (up to 5,500 head of cattle), owned six elevators with a one-time storage capacity of 250 thousand tonnes.
