Sugar factories produced 880 thousand tonnes of sugar
As of the first decade of November, 26 sugar factories-members of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine produced 880 thousand tonnes of sugar — 100 thousand tonnes less than on the same date last year.
The current sugar yield amounts to 14.81% (last season — 14.09%). This is due to the higher sugar content of beets upon acceptance — 17.39%, which is 0.62% higher than the 2024 figure.
Vinnytsia region remains the leader in sugar production volumes, where 6 factories have already produced 196 thousand tonnes of sugar.
In addition, beet processing is also carried out by Horokhiv Sugar Refinery, which is not member of «Ukrsugar» Association and does not provide operational information on the progress of processing.
