Sidney Sugars is satisfied with high sugar yield in the USA
After sugar beet from a variety of places throughout US sown area were tested in Sidney Sugars’ tare lab last week, factory officials were pleased with the numbers that they saw.

Duane Peters, ag manager at Sidney Sugars, said the tests showed an average of 32 t/acre and a sugar content of 18%.
At the end of last year’s harvest, the crop was a record of 33,3 t/acre and the sugar content was 17,67%.
Peters was pleased with the tare lab’s results: «I’m very happy with where we are considering what the growers went through this spring and summer. We will have a good crop».
