«Ritter Bio Agro» and «Deddens Agro» became the first to explore and develop new technology. 

New seeds, the production of which started at «Sesvanderhave» Ukrainian plant, is grown without pesticides. This segment is designed for the farmers who grow beetroots for organic sugar production. 

The company chose the seeds of modern high-performance hybrids, adapted to the cultivation conditions, necessary purity and size. 

Leonid Ilchyshyn, the deputy director of «Deddens Agro» says, the seed rate is about 2,5 crop units per hectare. Organic sugar beet is sown immediately after cultivation, in a moist soil to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. 

«Sesvanderhave-Ukraine» paid great attention to the seeds selection, as such a project was a pilot for the company. All questions on the first practice of organic sugar beet seed preparation were discussed at a special meeting. 

«Deddens Agro» order was very important and responsible for us, because it was a pilot project, and our hybrids could be used without teasing, as the customer required. We had to pick up special seeds with excellent quality, required characteristics of the hybrid and seed diameter», — said Stanislav Marchenko, Chief technologist of «Sesvanderhave-Ukraine». 

SESVanderHave seed plant (Ukraine) produces seeds with classical chemical protection against pests and diseases; with enhanced chemical protection against pests and diseases; and «Organic», completely without the use of pesticides.
