In Russia the current daily sugar output reaches 43 ths t of sugar, while 69 out of 75 sugar refineries are operating. 2 mln t of sugar are expected to be reached by October 3, which would be five days earlier than last year.

Russian farmers harvested 245,900 ha, which is 20,5% of the total sown area. This was up from 203,400 ha compared to the previous year. The average beet yield is 41,77 t/ha — down from 43,50 t/ha at the same time last year.
