This year, Rivne region plans to harvest 800,000 tonnes of beets, which is more than last year, said the Deputy Head of Regional State Administration Igor Tymoshenko. According to him, there will be enough raw materials, and then the sugar price will be stable.
«As a rule, after the end of harvesting and processing season, the price decreases. However, it is difficult to predict at the moment, because this is a market… There is a hope that the price will at least be stable. There are enough raw materials to produce enough sugar for the population», — said Ihor Tymoshenko.
