Rivne region harvested almost 700,000 tonnes of sugar beets
Rivne region continues sugar beet harvesting campaign. Almost 700,000 tonnes of crop have already been harvested.
Agribusinesses of Rivne region are actively accelerating late crops harvesting. In particular, sugar beets were harvested on 74% of the total area and almost 700,000 tonnes of raw materials were obtained. The beet yield amounted to 486 centners/ha, according to Department of Agri-Industrial Development of Rivne Regional State Admonistration.
