But agrarians are actively delivering the harvested sugar beets to sugar factories. More than 200,000 tonnes of raw materials have been received for sweet production since the beginning of the season, and there are enough raw materials for the factories to operate.

In general, in the region, sugar beets were harvested from the area of 3,6 thousand hectares out of a total of more than 20 thousand hectares (18%). The average yield of sweet roots amounts to 563 tonnes/ha and is higher than last year.
