This year, sugar beet were grown in an area of ​​more than 6,2 thousand hectares. This year it was expected to receive the usual beet yield of 500-550 centners, but weather conditions adjusted farmers' plans. As of November 14, the average yield wa 415 centners/ha. The sugar content was 17,28%.

Sugar beet harvesting was according to the plan, every day 150-170 hectares were harvested. In general, the harvesting campaign was successful. Over 190 thousand tonnes of raw materials were delivered for processing. It remains to remove from the field another 50 thousand tonnes of beet.
