Poltava sugar refineries produced 222 thousand tonnes of sugar
Poltava region completed sugar beet processing season.
It is reported by Regional Agricultural Department.
Five sugar refineries worked in the region this year.
Together they processed 1,5 million tonnes of sugar beet and produced 222 thousand tonnes of sugar. Sugar yield was 14,2%. The average sugar content reached 17,1%.
