Poltava region harvested more than one million tonnes of sugar beet
Despite unfavorable weather conditions, including summer drought, in Poltava region, the local farmers are successfully completing their agricultural year.

Before the frosts begin, the weather allows to prepare the soil for spring sugar beet sowing.
More than one million tonnes of sugar beet were harvested this year. The average yield amounted to 42,5 t/ha.
